For the past few weeks, we have been putting off providing a response to the question posed to us by my partners daughter and my step-daughter of ‘I Want A Baby‘.
So we thought it was high time that we not only answer the question but more so, answer it in the hope that the answer box will be taken back upstairs to her room and not left in the middle of the kitchen table, reminding us that we are yet still to provide a response.
So here it is:-
Now don’t get me wrong. A child would have been a lovely idea had we have met a few years earlier, had I not been about to hit my ‘mid-forties’, and had we not have to deal with my partners toxic ex-wife who already causes issues with the children.
Not only that, I really do want to be spending my retirement years travelling the world and not still paying for high-school or university tuition. Selfish? Perhaps, but life and having children doesn’t always turn out the way we planned or had expected and at the end of the day, is a very personal choice, so no judgement please.
Have you ever been in this situation, if so, how did you handle it? Love to hear your thoughts and comments below.
