Nutella Twists – this week saw our earthly planet celebrate that glossy, rich, hazelnutty pot of yum on Monday 5 February,
known as #WorldNutellaDay, (yes that really is a thing!). Unfortunately due to work commitments this week, I didn’t get a chance to participate. So I figured, better late than never! Following is my contribution/dedication to this delightful spread.
All you’ll need is two ingredients and 20 minutes, plus a strong desire not to just eat the chocolate from the jar!
- 1 frozen puff pastry sheet
- 1 jar nutella
Pre-heat oven to 200C/400F.
Remove a sheet of pastry from the pack and allow to thaw, partially.
Using a butter knife or spatula, cover the pastry evenly with the Nutella spread.
Line a baking tray with parchment paper.
Using a sharp knife, cut the pastry into 1-2cm thick ribbons.
Taking both ends of the ribbon, twist in the opposite direction.
Place the twists on to the baking tray. Bake for 15-17 minutes.
Remove from the oven and allow to cool. Dust with icing sugar and serve.
