Nutella Twists – this week saw our earthly planet celebrate that glossy, rich, hazelnutty pot of yum on Monday 5 February,
known as #WorldNutellaDay, (yes that really is a thing!).ย Unfortunately due to work commitments this week, I didn’t get a chance to participate.ย So I figured, better late than never!ย Following is my contribution/dedication to this delightful spread.
All you’ll need is two ingredients and 20 minutes, plus a strong desire not to just eat the chocolate from the jar!
Nutella Twists
Ingredients
- 1 frozen puff pastry sheet
- 1 jar nutella
Instructions
-
Pre-heat oven to 200C/400F.
-
Remove a sheet of pastry from the pack and allow to thaw, partially.
-
Using a butter knife or spatula, cover the pastry evenly with the Nutella spread.
-
Line a baking tray with parchment paper.
-
Using a sharp knife, cut the pastry into 1-2cm thick ribbons.
-
Taking both ends of the ribbon, twist in the opposite direction.
-
Place the twists on to the baking tray. Bake for 15-17 minutes.
-
Remove from the oven and allow to cool. Dust with icing sugar and serve.
