Is it just me, or are we all seriously confused by the new Bachelorette, Ali?
Is this girl really looking for love or just trying to snog as many guys as she can?
Apart from her self-confession of; falling in love too fast, bless her, coz it makes for good TV, she clearly also preaches and practices, the try before you buy theory.
However, isn’t this the same theory that hasn’t gotten her the love of her life in the past?
So what happened this week?
Wednesday night saw Ali and Robert have a one on one date and spend a bit of time on the couch lip-locked, although, I’m pretty sure that had the cameras not been there, good ol’ Robert would have gotten a whole lot more, (wink, wink, nudge, nudge), especially with Ali’s let’s get it on comment to the producers on the side.
Just quickly though and before I move on, did anyone else notice how uncomfortable Robert looked, especially after Ali had said that he was everything she was looking for.
He kinda sat there dumbfounded with a deer caught in the headlights look on his face before, Ali sprung to his rescue and killed the awkward silence with some much needed lip moisturizing techniques of her own.
Later that night at the rose ceremony we saw the departure of Damien, which I have to admit I’m very surprised at.
A seriously hot 42 year old…did anyone else see him in that gladiator outfit??? What was she thinking? Oh and some other guy left as well….however, my mind is only thinking of men in gladiator outfits!
Thursday saw Bill win through for some one-on-one time with Ali and lo and behold, she reveals…wait for it, ‘you are everything I’m looking for’. Shocked? Hmmm, so was I…not!
Then in a shocking compatibility game, Danny wins the opportunity to finally get some one-on-one time with Ali and blows it with his nervous, kinda quirky weird way, by leaning in for a kiss at the most in-opportune moment.
But then, you can’t really blame the guy for wanting to get a piece of the action either. It must be frustrating to hear all the gory details about the dates with Ali and not want in yourself.
That night at the cocktail party, Charlie calls Nathan out on his poolside rumour-mongering, but not before he turns into an A-class dibber-dobber and runs to mother Ali to let her know what happened at home whilst she was out snogging.
All this drama saw Ali boot Nathan from the house for talking about what he had read in the media and heard, from friends who know of Ali and her past dalliance with Grant Kemp in Los Angeles.
Was it called for?
Ali is appears ready to settle down and start a family. Nathan is 23 years old, and in my eyes, way too young to be in that position just yet.
In saying that, I’m thinking we need to watch out for the B..I..T..C..H in the house…Charlie!
I had high hopes for him when he first walked into the house, but as the weeks progress, I’m finding that his overly jealous and possessive nature is rather ugly and not endearing at all.
What are your thoughts? Is there a front-runner for Ali’s heart?
