Well another week has passed and aren’t they just flying by. This is a new column, blog post, addition thingy that I’m going to start doing each week.
It’s a no bars hold look at what really went on this week and a bit of a wrap up on all things here at Luv Lissee.
So to get us started, let’s have a quick review of the important things.
The Bachelor Australia
C’mon, did you think I was going to start with a world review? Uh…wrong!
This week we saw another set of one on one dates, bowling, heart sobbing moments, confrontations and home visits.
I can’t say that I’m overly shocked to see the families of the girls giving him a hard time, I mean he is a footballer and well, let’s face it, the media hasn’t done them any favours over the years and to be honest, they probably haven’t done themselves any favours either.
But we can’t say that they are all tainted with the same brush.
Perhaps Nick is different, but what is becoming overly apparent to me is, these girls are all developing feelings and starting to admit that they are, or have fallen in love with him.
However, have we actually heard The Honey Badger himself once, at the conclusion of any of the home visits, say anything in return? Did he actually fess up and say that he had feelings, or was developing feelings for any of them?
Instead he met their vulnerability with a kiss and a quick departure. I’m starting to wonder if he in fact has any feelings for any of them or, if this is just a whole lot of practice in playing tongue hockey for him.
I think the biggest shock of all and what really turned me off, was the way Brittany carried on. I mean, it is like she is ‘exclusive’ with Nick and just found out that he has been cheating.
To be honest, as much as Cass is young, naive and borderline stage 5 clinger, the way Brittany finished the home visit would have been enough for me to send her home. Jealousy in a non-exclusive environment is so not cool, if at any time really.
What was worse was that she confronted Cass about it and pushed for all the gory details. Da, it’s a TV show, the producers were the ones that set this whole thing up and well, you fell for it. Exactly what they and secretly we, wanted as well!
Anyhow as the season is wrapping up and only a few shows to go, we wait with baited breath as to who will be the winner at the end of the competition. Who do you think will be left out in the cold?
Other important things to note
Today, Friday, of all days I’ve decided to start a fitness and healthy eating program. Now I’m not following anything or anyone specifically, but concentrating on moving more and making better choices.
Seriously though, who in their right mind starts a better lifestyle on a Friday? Isn’t this the day, that end of week drinks was invented for? What’s worse, is that this weekend is a long weekend in Queensland and it’s also school holidays, so we have a weekend planned of activities, festivities and I’m not sure that gnawing on some celery sticks is going to cut it. We shall see!
On the blog front, I’ve been finishing off an Instagram course. You know; how do you use it, what to post etc, but since my vanity likes have been well down this week, I’m really trying to crack on and get it done.
It is an experiment but then, isn’t life, isn’t blogging and at the end of the day, this blog is about sharing things I like, my experiences and my life with the world….well, for anyone that has 5 minutes and wants to read it.
Anyhow, best run. What’s your week looked like? Have you started anything new? Any thoughts you want to share on The Bachelor Australia? Feel free to leave some comments below.
Have a great weekend!
