Vanilla French Toast

  • 2 eggs
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 2 tablespoons white sugar
  • 2 tablespoons vanilla extract
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 6 thick slices of bread
  • 1 tablspoon butter - for cooking


  1. In a large mixing bowl, add all ingredients and whisk together.
  2. Dunk a slice of bread into the batter and ensure it's sufficiently covered on both sides.
  3. Heat a large frypan over medium to high heat. Add butter and allow to melt.
  4. Add dipped bread to frypan and cook for 2-3 minutes on each side or until golden and brown.

  5. Serve with topping of your choice.
