Pasta Stir Through with Bacon

  • 350 grams spiral pasta
  • 1 teaspoon oil
  • 1 medium brown onion chopped
  • 6 slices streaky bacon rashers chopped
  • 3 cloves garlic chopped
  • 350 gram jar Leggo's Sundried Tomato and Roasted Garlic Stir Through Pasta Sauce
  • 1/2 cup mozzarella cheese grated
  • parmesan and parsley to garnish optional


  1. Prepare pasta as per packet instructions
  2. Add oil to a large frypan over a medium to high heat
  3. Add onions and stir occasionally until soft
  4. Add bacon and continue to stir occasionally until lightly browned
  5. Add garlic and continue to cook for a minute. Remove from heat.
  6. Add the cooked and drained pasta, mozzarella cheese and stir through pasta sauce to the frypan
  7. Using a spatula or tongs, stir all ingredients until combined.
  8. Serve and garnish with parmesan and parsley
